As you can see, these shingles are very loose and easy to lift. It is clear that they have been loose for a while, due to the rotting wood beneath it.

The other side of the roof has even more mismatched shingles that are even darker in color. Clearly this roof has been patched and repaired multiple times.
Starting the Stripping Process
Our crew gets to work stripping the old shingles and roofing materials off this mobile home.

Placing the IKO Roof-Fast Base
For this low slope portion of the roof, we are beginning with placing the starter sheet of IKO's Roof-Fast Base.
Placing the IKO Roof-Fast Cap Sheet
After we put down the base sheet, we layer on the final IKO Roof-Fast Cap Sheet, a reinforced self-adhering membrane (SAM). This multi-layer protection is specifically designed for low-slope roofs since they are more susceptible to water damage.
