As shown in the before and after, we replaced the exhaust vent hood with a built-in damper on the roof and installed a new flex duct from the fan to the hood. The vent pipe boot was reinforced with a Perma-Boot for added protection. Before that, we removed the damaged shingles to access the plywood beneath and replaced any compromised decking.
